About the Bears

All my bears are loosely and fully jointed. Each one is filled with polyester and heavily weighted with steel shot and comes with traditional black glass eyes and a stitched and waxed nose, They have cotton paws and are sympathetically and carefully aged to give them a vintage and worn look. The bears clothes are invariably made from vintage fabrics and genuine antique lace. You will also find that I add Victorian and Edwardian accessories to give your bear an authentic feel. Your special bear will have a sewn in tag, and a swing tag with all his or her important details. Every swing tag on the back carries my signature. Your special bear will arrive packaged with care in tissue and placed in a box.

Due to the nature of components used. all my bears are unsuitable for children under the age of 14

Myrtle

14 Inches

I would like to introduce you to Myrtle. She is my largest bear at 14 inches. She is made from the most beautiful dusky raspberry vintage velvet and wears a dress created from an antique cotton lawn christening gown, which has been trimmed with silk flowers. Her hat is made from pure silk and finished with a mulberry paper rose. Myrtle wears a string of vintage pearls and carries her Victorian sovereign purse.

Flynn

10 Inches

And this is Flynn! A beautiful panda bear looking to be loved. As you can see he has been in the wars a little. He comes with a ruff made from vintage silk trimmed with a mulberry paper rose. He has little cotton and antique lace patches and carries a Victorian carved bone ring around his neck with various brass jingle bells

Noosha

This is teeny weeny Noosha. He is not much bigger than a cotton reel! He wears a ruff made from very fine vintage silk and tiny vintage brass beads on his tummy. As you can see Noosha has been in the wars. He has little patches and stitches to give him a truly loved and vintage feel.

Kushi

This is tiny Kushi. She measures a wee 4 inches and comes with her silk hat trimmed with dusky silk pink ribbon and finished with mulberry paper flowers. Her dress is made from vintage broderie anglaise and trimmed at the neck with antique lace. She wears a little sparkly brooch and a tiny string of seed pearls around her neck.
